Finally finished her faceup!

I've been searching through doll companies and such looking for a suitable body for her. Something broad shouldered, slim but not anorexic looking, and with small breasts (or at least not huge ones that stick out like they are fake.) and I THINK Island Doll might be a good choice (Well, actually I really like Supia body but I don't think it'll match. That and it's hard to get.). But it seems that doa doesn't have much information about the resin match and such so I've no idea whether/which of the skintones matches.

Gah. I'm waiting for her wig too. So yeahhhh.

On another note. I took a long look at my Khal head yesterday and I still think he's a good Zeke but I'm wondering if Peroth is offered as a head, would I buy Peroth as Zeke? Should I? I don't want 2 heads for the same character, so it means 1 would have to go...and I'm reluctant to sell. At the same time I don't want to make up another character just to fit either 1 of them or something, cos it'll mess with the story I have now. And that's all assuming that Peroth would be offered as a head. If he's sold as a full doll only...well, I don't think I can even buy him. D: Haven't been saving much. Uni life eats up my allowance pretty fast. Argh.

I'm finally getting more comfortable with blushing for faceups. I usually find linework more fun, but for some reason this time blushing is pretty fun too. :D I love how realistic Elfdoll sculpts are. Anyway, I like her lips. More darkening her blushing, and maybe I'll add eyebrow hairs, but her faceup is still not complete yet. But at least she has a sort of face now.

Okay, you know what, I think I need to give her eyebrow hairs.

And some Jack, cos he was lying around, to model my jewelry as I'm making it. I finished a piece, so I'll probably be taking photos of it tomorrow morning. Whatever little funds I can find I will FINDDDDD for my hopes of being able to afford a peroth if they do offer just the head. Haha.

Wait, what? Nobility is going to work with Esthy to make Peroth? I hope they sell him without the body. Actually I probably won't have enough money to buy him, but still. ARGH. Peroth! I don't know know if I should be wishing that they'll sell him as a head or not.

Gabby, who is with me for over 3 years already. Sometimes I don't realise that time does pass that fast. And I missed Dennis's character birthday this year, but I don't know. Maybe I should just skip taking photos of them on that day anyway, since I don't actually celebrate other than taking a photo. Which isn't much of a celebration. :/

The sadder thing than not celebrating Dennis's birthday is I don't remember the birthdays of my other dolls, besides Gabby, and I'm kind of unsure for the twins and Nat (can't  remember what's the date I decided on in the end), and for the rest of them, they don't have birthdays yet, cos I've not decided.

Tiyana's box opening

Came home today and saw the postman at the lift. He wasn't holding anything, so I figured that someone was home to receive my parcel. When I got home, I was surprised to find that the eyes I ordered arrived too, even though the tracking didn't (D:).



The eyes on the left. I got Hew and Sion new eyes though it doesn't seem that different in photos, but the colour in real life is quite different. Don't really have good photos to show though. But on to the box opening, which is more exciting, eh?


You can't really see it here, but there's 3 blocks of foam around the brown paper box to keep it in position within the outer shipping box. I'm really happy that Elfdoll has such packaging cos it's much easier to remove than bubblewrap. I took so long to go through bubblewrap for my other heads last time. Haha.

Since I don't have any female bodies, I took the skinniest boy body I have (Fdoll, aka Jack's body, which is quite funny cos Jack is Tiyana's character so it's quite appropriate that she's borrowing his body. For some odd reason. ;D), found some other foam (not the Elfdoll ones, haha) and taped them into some boobie shape, then stuck them under the shirt. The grey thing in the photo is actually a scarf (that's super wide), held together by a butterfly clip I sometimes use for my hair. And Tiyana's borrowing Kris hair. The only thing that is hers are her eyes, really. But I guess it's pretty innovative? Haha. Honestly I just wanted photos of her.

Now I need to commit myself to saving up for her body. Or not. :/ I guess I will, cos having a girl in the house is so much more fun than all boy dolls.

It would have been better if I did something like this near Halloween. Haha. As it is, I was just playing around with photoshop.

On another note, Tiyana's head (ED Vivien) is already in Singapore, so she'll reach me pretty soon, I think. :D

Oh, and I deleted the cbox cos it was getting filled with spam. Oh well.
