Wiped Caillen's old faceup. I'm trying to decide if I should make him Benja instead...He's too grumpy looking for Caillen, but I've no idea what Benja is like, as I've no idea what Jack is like. :/

Leeke heads on Little Monica type B body (all NS)

Resin is of the same darkness, but Leeke is pink based, LM is yellow based, so it doesn't really match that well. My camera picks up the pink/red of the heads quite a lot, so the photos here are colour-edited.


First we have Khal+LM type B body. He looks a bit bobble head-ed which is more obvious with clothes. But that's just my opinion. Some people might think he's fine. I'm just too used to seeing 9" heads (my Mihos) instead of 10" on this body.


Lowest the head holds without kips/sueding. Can actually be adjusted to tilt lower but snaps back to this position once I let go. Might be better with kips/sueding.


Most accurate to real life (on my monitor) in terms of resin colour. Also highest head can tilt without kips/sueding. As with the lowest, this is NOT the highest possible, just that I didn't kip/suede it.


Mihael head on the body. He matches a bit better than Khal because he's less pink, and also because his faceup is yellower? I think. I think the body isn't big enough for him but oh well, it's not his anyway. :|

And besides the good news that I finished the twins' faceups (need to stick Sion's piercing back), Tiyana's body also arrived :D I need to get her some tops and dresses but she's stuck in this for now.

Decided to try using watercolour paints instead of watercolour pencils, since I bought watercolour paints for school. Plus there was already black and dark brown in my stencil, haha, made it even easier.







And the amazing thing is, with the new pastels I have, I only used 1 layer for pastels, when usually I need around 3-4 to get a even muted shade. Love love love Schmicke pastels. And here's my previous faceup, just for comparison:



Using paints, even if it's watercolour paints really makes a difference. Damn. I should have done that sooner. >_< I'm going to redo Sion's faceup, and maybe Caillen's as well. Soon.

Oh no...Migidoll has released a Janus Miho. Which is basically Miho but smirking. As if I don't already like Mihos like crazy...and smirking faces... Miho + Smirk is. just.

Except I already have 2 Mihos, and no real character, argh. :(

Editing was inspired by instagram effects, if you didn't already notice. Tiyana photographs really easily. Kind of wish I had better lighting but I just finished writing my papers, and it was late, so well. I need to study tomorrow D:
